my valentine

Hi all ..... Its been quite a long time that i had posted my last blog... new job has been keeping me engaged and now the workload is zero , I thought i would post something that i wrote in my diary this Feb 14 2011.

my valentine

“My parents are forcing me dear,I am unable to argue. My mother is always mentioning my fathers heart problem and compells me to get married soon. If you are not going to marry me within one year, I am sure they will get me married to someone else,” she said and disconnected the call.

Now I have got a job,It will take another three years to make my parents financially secure, let my sister finish his engineering and, finally, convince my parents and her parents to my marrying her. By all probable means, all of this will take not less than another five years.

She is from Trichy,I am from trichy as well but we met in pondicherry.

she speaks tamil and i speak Tamil as well, but we were mostly short of words and communicated without words.

she is a Catholic and I am a Hindu but we never talked about religion.

she likes singing and i like dancing, but we preferred sitting together in silence.

she like candle light dinner and i like going out in the rain we celebrated our valentines day together.

Now I want five years but she can wait for only one year. She can't wait for four years, I know. Her friends are getting married, and some of them have kids too. Her parents are asked why she is not getting married. Her father too developed a weak heart lately.

Her mother secured a promise from her not to disappoint her father. Her brother has to marry after her marriage. Her relatives bring all sorts of proposals for her, but mostly from Dubai.

She can't say ‘no' to all proposals. One day, she has to concede and that one day is exactly one year from now,I know.

After that, she has to forget me,I have to blame myself and my cupids broken arrow and I have to forget her. we both have to forget each other. She would be getting married and would have kids too just like her friends. Her parents won't be asked anymore why she is not getting married. Her father too would recover from his weak heart. Her mother would feel a sigh of relief. Her brother could marry now. Her relatives would find their mission accomplished.

And I would have this post published here .

A god's child

living a DOG'S life

When Jasmine the abandoned greyhound arrived at a wildlife sanctuary shivering and desperate for food, she needed all the love in the world to nurse her back to full health. Now it appears the kindness and patience shown to her has rubbed off - for the rescue dog has become a surrogate mother for the 50th time. Seven-year-old Jasmine is currently caring for tiny Bramble, an 11-week-old roe deer fawn found semi-conscious in a nearby field. But then again, she has had plenty of practice, having cared for five fox cubs, four badger cubs, 15 chicks, eight guinea pigs, two stray puppies and even 15 rabbits. Jasmine, the timid, abused, deserted waif, became the animal sanctuary's mother , a role for which she might have been born...Maybe we as a civilized society could learn from not only jasmine, but all of gods' creatures. All we need to do is LISTEN , LOVE and CARE.
GOD IS STILL ALIVE!!!
